Service Objectives

At Renassiance Domiciliary Care, we recognise that your needs are unique

Our domiciliary care services are necessary to enable an individual who are in need of health and social care assistance to remain at home with a reasonable level of health, hygiene, safety and comfort, and delivered in such a way as to enhance their quality of life. It is an alternative to being taken into care home or hospital. The service may be needed due to a permanent or temporary inability to manage their own care, because of frailty in advancing age, disability, physical or mental ill health, changes within the family causing the need for extra help, or the lack of necessary self-caring skills. The services that can be provided within the remits of Domiciliary Care may include personal care (assistance with activities of daily living), enablement, community meals, shopping, collecting pensions and allowances, or other services identified in the care plan.
Our goal is to enable service users to remain living independently in the community by maximising their abilities.

The Service Objectives:

1. The main objective of the service is to enable service users to remain in their own homes by developing the skills to remain there safely.

2. Our care plans are comprehensively designed to ensure that services are appropriately arranged to meet assessed needs expressed by the service user and that outcomes are clearly identified. It will therefore facilitate a more straightforward way for staff to review against clear outcomes. This will help to promote a smoother throughput of work for the service.

3. Staff are taught and encouraged to work with service users and carers to determine how their assessed needs can be met within available resources.

4. As a company, we are aware of the roles and responsibilities of partner agencies, and how these relate to those of the in-house domiciliary care service. We work well with any other organisations or persons involved in your care.

5. Services will be provided in a way which meets the National Minimum Standards for Domiciliary Care and complies with all relevant legislation.

6. To utilise in-patient facilities as a last resort.
